2 Corinthians 3English

2 Bakorinta 3African Kalanga

  1. English1

Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you?

    African Kalanga

Apa tatangisa kuzwikudza kakale kene? Kene tonga bamwe banhu banohaka whalo dzinomuzibisa kuti ndiswi boani, kene dzinobva kumuli dzizibisa bamwe kuti ndiswi kene.

  2. English2

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody.

    African Kalanga

Imwi ne kwenyu, mu lukwalo gwedu, gwakakwagwa mu mimoyo yedu, gunozibgwa ne gunobagwa ne mmwe ne mmwe.

  3. English3

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

    African Kalanga

Molakidza kuti mu lukwalo gunobva kuna Khirisiti guhha ndiswi, gusakakwagwa ne inki, koga gwakakwagwa ne Meya ye Ndzimu unotjila. Gusakakwagwa mu mabgwe, koga gwakakwagwa mu mimoyo ye banhu.

  4. English4

Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God.

    African Kalanga

Ikoku ihalabvuko yatinayo nekwa Khirisiti mu Ndzimu.

  5. English5

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.

    African Kalanga

Kusingabve kuti takalizanila ne kwedu kwatingati tjimwe ne tjimwe tjobva mutili, kulizanila kwedu kobva ku Ndzimu,

  6. English6

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant–not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

    African Kalanga

iwo wakatithama kulizanila kube bahingili be Tjibvumano tjitshwa, tjisi tje nlayo wakakwagwa, koga tje Meya. Ngobe nlayo wakakwagwa unobulaya, koga Meya inopa butjilo.

  7. English7

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was,

    African Kalanga

Ngwenu ha hingila kunohisa lufu kwakakwagwa mu mabgwe, kwakahha ne tjedza tjingapa, tjakayita Baiziraela kuti basilinge Mushe mu buso, nenguba penya ikoku kwakabe kopela,

  8. English8

will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?

    African Kalanga

apa kuhingila kwe Meya akungabe ne tjedza tjikulu kupinda kene?

  9. English9

If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!

    African Kalanga

Ha kwakabe kuna tjedza mu kuhingila kunolobesa, kuhingila kwe ndulamo kwakafanila kupinde ne tjedza.

  10. English10

For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory.

    African Kalanga

Ne malebeswa ipapa tjakabe tjina tjedza atjitjina tjedza, ngwenu kwatjibe ne tjedza tjinotjikulila.

  11. English11

And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

    African Kalanga

Ngobe ha ili kuti kunopinda kwakahha ne tjedza, kunogalila tjose kwakafanila kube ne tjedza tjikulu.

  12. English12

Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

    African Kalanga

Se tina kugalabgwe kwakajali, tina tjilopa.

  13. English13

We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away.

    African Kalanga

Atitonga Mushe, iye wakabe ekwididza buso gugwe ne jila kuti ba Iziraela basibone bhelelo le tjedza tjakabe tjipela.

  14. English14

But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

    African Kalanga

Koga mikumbulo yabo yakabe yakakukutala, ngobe na nasi ha bebala Tjibvumano tjikulukugwi jila ileliya litjiyapo halizofukunugwa, ngobe lofukunugwa ndi Khirisiti koga.

  15. English15

Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.

    African Kalanga

Ee, kuswikila nasi ha bebala nlayo jila lokwididza mikumbulo yabo,

  16. English16

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

    African Kalanga

koga ha nhu ehandukila kuna He, jila ileli lofukunugwa.

  17. English17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

    African Kalanga

Ngwenu, He ndibo Meya, ngono pana Meya ya He, pana sununguko.

  18. English18

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

    African Kalanga

Ngono iswi tose be njiso dzakafukunugwa tilakidza tjedza tja He, tohandugwa kunga iye ne tjedza tjinokula misi yose, ngobe ikoku kobva muna He iye Meya.
