Galatians 4English

Bagalatiya 4African Kalanga

  1. English1

What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.

    African Kalanga

Tjandinoleba whuti, n'gali nhaka ha atji mwana, unobhakhwa koga se nlanda nenguba ne malebeswa zwinhu zose zwili zwizwe.

  2. English2

He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.

    African Kalanga

Ha atji ntjetjana, kuna babhabhi ne batjengeti banotjengeta zwinhu zwizwe kuswikila lubaka gwakabigwa ndi tate babe guswika.

  3. English3

So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.

    African Kalanga

Naswibo takati tili bana, takabe balanda be zwidiyo zwe meya ye lubumbo.

  4. English4

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law,

    African Kalanga

Koga kwakati lubaka guhha ne buhhalo, Ndzimu ukatuma Nkololo wawo waka-zwagwa ne nkadzi, ezwaligwa mu nlayo,

  5. English5

to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.

    African Kalanga

kudzutunula ibabo bapasi kwe nlayo, kuti tibe bana be Ndzimu

  6. English6

Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”

    African Kalanga

Ngobe muli bana bawo, Ndzimu wakatumila Meya ye Nkololo wawo mu mimoyo yedu, Meya iyo inodanilila iti, “Abha Tate!”

  7. English7

So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

    African Kalanga

Ndizo ngwenu, mu Ndzimu ha utji nlanda, koga wabe mwana, ngono se wabe mwana wawo, Ndzimu wakakuthama kuti ube n'gali nhaka.

  8. English8

Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods.

    African Kalanga

Kutanga, makati musanhu mukaziba Ndzimu, makabe muli balanda ba izwezo zwisi midzimu.

  9. English9

But now that you know God--or rather are known by God--how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?

    African Kalanga

Koga ngwenu se moziba Ndzimu, kene ndingati, ngwenu se mozibgwa ne Ndzimu, mobgwililila tjini ku meya isakasima, inohaya wali? Mohaka kube balanda bayo kakale?

  10. English10

You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!

    African Kalanga

Molondolodza mahhuba mamwe ne mimwedzi ne misi ne makole mamwe.

  11. English11

I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.

    African Kalanga

Ndogwadzika ne kwenyu, kuti ne imwe zila ndakazanisa masimba angu mumuli.

  12. English12

I plead with you, brothers, become like me, for I became like you. You have done me no wrong.

    African Kalanga

Ndomukumbila, makamu angu, ibeni sami, ngobe nami ndatjibe samwi. Akuna tjamakanditjinyila.

  13. English13

As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you.

    African Kalanga

Moziba kuti ini ndakasumikila ndebo mbuya kumuli tje kutanga; ngobe ndakabe ndigwala.

  14. English14

Even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself.

    African Kalanga

Koga nenguba bugwele gwangu gwakabe guli ndiko kumuli; amuzondilingila pasi, kene kuli kundilamba. Koga makandiamutjila sekwa mungaamutjila ntumwa we kudzimu, sa Khirisiti Jesu ne kukwe.

  15. English15

What has happened to all your joy? I can testify that, if you could have done so, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me.

    African Kalanga

Kuhanha kwenyu kwakayendayi? Ndina malebeswa ekuti akwabe kutubuka, mungabe makakonyombola meho enyu mukandipa iwo.

  16. English16

Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?

    African Kalanga

Apa ndatjibe tjita tjenyu ngwenu ne kumubudza malebeswa kene?

  17. English17

Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them.

    African Kalanga

Bahu ibaba bakatukutilila kuti mubatobelelele suli. Tjabanohaka koga whumu-thubukanya naswi, kuti ndizo mutukutilile ibo.

  18. English18

It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always and not just when I am with you.

    African Kalanga

Kwakanaka kutukutilila tjimwe, ha kuli kuti tjinotukutiligwa tjakalulwama, kusi kutukutila ha ndinamwi koga.

  19. English19

My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,

    African Kalanga

Bana bangu! Koga se nkadzi umu zwibhayo zwe kutshibama, kwakajalobo mu ndili, kuswikilila mukula muna Khirisiti.

  20. English20

how I wish I could be with you now and change my tone, because I am perplexed about you!

    African Kalanga

Ndoyemula kwazo kuti ndingabe ndi namwi ngwenu, kuti ndizo ndihandule whi langu ngobe ndakatjenama ne kwenyu.

  21. English21

Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says?

    African Kalanga

Mundibudze imwi banohaka kube pasi kwe nlayo, apa amutowha nlayo tjaunoleba kene?

  22. English22

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.

    African Kalanga

Kwakakwagwa kuti Abhurahama wakabe ana bakololo babili, mmwe waka-nzwala ne nlandakadzi, mmwe ne nkadzi wakabe asi nlanda.

  23. English23

His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.

    African Kalanga

Nkololo uwe waaka-zwala ne nlandakadzi, wakazwagwa ne zila ye banhu bose, koga nkololo uwe waaka-zwala ne nkadzi usi nlanda, wakazwagwa ne kugadziwabgwe ne Ndzimu.

  24. English24

These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar.

    African Kalanga

Zwinhu izwezwi zwifaniso: Bakadzi ibaba babili, kobviwa zwibvumano zwibili. Tjibvumano tje kutanga nde tje dombo le Sinai, tjozwalila bana mu bulanda, ndi Haga.

  25. English25

Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.

    African Kalanga

Haga, i Dombo le Sinai mu Arabhiya, iye umilile nzi nkulu Jerusalema mu mahhuba ano, ne kuti umu busungwa ne bana babe.

  26. English26

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

    African Kalanga

Koga nkadzi mmwe umilile Jerusalema u pehhugwi waka-sununguka, ngono ndiye mme bedu.

  27. English27

For it is written: “Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.”

    African Kalanga

Ngobe kwakakwagwa kukayi, “Hanha kwazo iwe balumbila, iwe usingawane bana! Pululudza umimile ne kuhanha, iwe usakatongobe mu zwibhayo! Ngobe bana be nkadzi wakasiyiwa banji kupinda bana be wakalobogwa.”

  28. English28

Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.

    African Kalanga

Ngwenu imwi, makamu angu, monga Isaki, mu bana be kugadziwabgwe.

  29. English29

At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now.

    African Kalanga

Ne lubaka igogo nkololo wakazwagwa ne zila ye banhu bose wakadziyidza nkololo waka-zwagwa ne Meya ngono kwakajalo zwako nangwenu.

  30. English30

But what does the Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”

    African Kalanga

Koga Whalo dzikatini kene? Whalo dzikati, “Tata nlandakadzi ne nkololo uwe, ngobe nkololo we nlandakadzi aatogala nhaka ne nkololo we nkadzi usi nlanda.”

  31. English31

Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

    African Kalanga

Ndizo makamu, iswi ate tili bakololo be nlandakadzi koga tibana be nkadzi usi nlanda.
