Romans 10English

Baroma 10African Kalanga

  1. English1

Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.

    African Kalanga

Makamu, yemula kwe moyo wangu ne ntembezelo wangu ku Ndzimu whuti Baiziraela batjidziwe.

  2. English2

For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge.

    African Kalanga

Ndopa butendeki nekwabo kuti banohingayilila Ndzimu, koga kuhingayila kwabo akuna luzibo.

  3. English3

Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

    African Kalanga

Ne haya luzibo nekwe ndulamo inobva mu Ndzimu, ne haka kuzwithamila kwabo, abazozwipa mu ndulamo ye Ndzimu.

  4. English4

Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

    African Kalanga

Ngobe Khirisiti ndiye bhelelo le nlayo, kuti mmwe ne mmwe unakugalamoyo alulwamisiwe.

  5. English5

Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: “The man who does these things will live by them.”

    African Kalanga

Mushe wakakwala eti, “Iye unolondolodza ndulamo inolebgwa ne nlayo unowotjila ndiyo.”

  6. English6

But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ “ (that is, to bring Christ down)

    African Kalanga

Koga ndulamo yakatemelela mu kugalamoyo ikati, “Usitongo zwibhuzwa mu moyo uti ndiani, unowotanhila kudzimu?” Kobva kuti kudelusila Khirisiti pasi.

  7. English7

“or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’ “ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).

    African Kalanga

Kene “Ndiani unowodelukila mu gomba?” Kobva kumusa Khirisiti mu bafi.

  8. English8

But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:

    African Kalanga

Koga dama le Ndzimu likatini kene? “Dama lipedlo nawe, limu nlomo ne mu moyo uwo.” Ndilo dama le kugalamoyo, latinosumikila.

  9. English9

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

    African Kalanga

Nekuti ha uleba ne nlomo uwo uti Jesu ndi He ubvuma mu moyo uwo kuti Ndzimu wakammusa mu bafi, unowotjidziwa.

  10. English10

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

    African Kalanga

Nekuti nhu unobvuma ne moyo uwe, ndizo kalulwamisiwa, kaleba ne nlomo uwe, katjidziwa.

  11. English11

As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

    African Kalanga

Whalo dzoti, “Akuna iye unogalamoyo muunli unowobhatisiwa honi.”

  12. English12

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

    African Kalanga

Akuna kuthubukana pakati kwe Njuta ne N'giriki, ngobe He iyezwe ndiye He wa bose, ngono unothamila mhahhambuya bose banon'dana.

  13. English13

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

    African Kalanga

Nekuti, “Mmwe ne mmwe unodana zina la He unowotjidziwa.”

  14. English14

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

    African Kalanga

Koga banhu bangan'dana tjini iye wabasakagalamoyo? Ngono bangagalamoyo tjini muna wabasakawha ne kukwe? Kakale banowowha tjini kusina nsumikili.

  15. English15

And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

    African Kalanga

Ngono banhu banowosumikila tjini basatumwa? Sekwa kwakakwagwa kuyi “Kwakanaka seni ha basumikili be hhisa ndebo mbuya!”

  16. English16

But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”

    African Kalanga

Koga ate bose bakaamutjila ndebo mbuya. Isaya wakati, “He, ndiani wakagalamoyo tjaakawha naswi?”

  17. English17

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

    African Kalanga

Ndizo wali, galamoyo kobva muna tjawawha, tjawawha tjobva mukusumikigwa kwa Khirisiti.

  18. English18

But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

    African Kalanga

Koga ndobhuzwa nditi: Apa abazowha kene? Tjose bakawha! “Mawhi e basumikili akahhala hango yose, matama abo kaswika ku phelelo dze hango.”

  19. English19

Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.”

    African Kalanga

Ndobhuzwa kakale nditi: Apa banhu be Iziraela abazowhisisa kene? Mushe kutanga wakati, “Ndowokuthama kuti uthamile fupa basi tjaba, kuti ndizo mube ne fupa ne tjaba tjisakatjenjela ndowokugwadzisamoyo.”

  20. English20

And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”

    African Kalanga

Ngono Isaya unoleba akasima eti, “Ndakawang'wa ndi ibabo bakabe basingandihake, ndakazwilakidza kuna ibabo bakabe basingabhuzwe ne kwangu.”

  21. English21

But concerning Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”

    African Kalanga

Koga nekwe Iziraela kati, “Hhuba lose ndakatjinga ne maboko angu, nditjingila banhu basingawhe kakale banonyanyayidza.”
